Clap for the NHS…An Exemplar in British Hypocrisy…

The usual grim parade of Government Ministers have been clogging up my TV over Christmas. Telling the nation how great “Our NHS" is. How NHS staff are akin to National heroes — Which they are. How the NHS has saved the nation from a pandemic melt down — Which it has.

Endless Joe Public line up for vox pops to tell the hungry camera lens how fantastic the NHS is. Blah, blah, blah…

The gushing Joe Public are are the VERY people who have voted for Governments Labour and Conservative over 23 years who have:

• Introduced an internal market.
• Monetised.
• Carved up.
• Contracted out the NHS…

For the sole benefit of the private sector.

These are the Joe Public who have voted CONSISTENTLY for Governments, Labour, Conservative and Lib Dem Coalition who:

• Removed the Secretary of State for Health’s 64 year obligation to provide health care for all.
• Voted no to payrise for NHS staff.
• Reduced the NHS budget by £30bn.
